Release Notes v11.7

July 17, 2025

ActivityTimeline Cloud:  Released on May 31, 2025.

ActivityTimeline Server/DC: Released on July 17, 2025.

Recommended: Backup your Jira’s database before the upgrade from v8.x to v9.0+

This version update includes the following enhancements:

  • Added a new configuration option to enable or disable approval for custom events: You can now control approval requirements for the following event types — Booking, Day Off, Placeholder, and Vacation.

Previously, approval was mandatory only for Vacation events and couldn’t be turned off. With this update, you have the flexibility to decide whether approval is needed for each event type, based on your team’s workflow.

You can control approval in Configurations → Events → Manage → Requires Approval Setting

  • Added an approval filter to the Issue Panel, allowing for a quicker overview of bookings, placeholders, and vacations pending approval.

The filter remains hidden by default and only becomes visible when ‘Apply Filters to Timelines’ is enabled

  • Extended Jira Filter Limit: Increased the maximum number of issues supported for timesheet generation using Jira filters from 3,000 to 5,000, allowing for more comprehensive reporting. Learn more.

  • Introduced visual indicator for users with “No Access” role: A “✖️” emoji is now displayed next to the names of users with the “No Access” role on ActivityTimeline administration pages.

  • Optimized Timesheet refresh behavior after logging work hours from Track view.

  • Security improvements.

  • Other improvements and fixes.
