Advanced version of ActivityTimeline includes financial tracking capabilities that allow teams to manage cost rates, billing rates, budgets, revenue, expenses, and financial reporting.
The main Finances documentation is available in the User Guide, as it explains how end users and managers can work with financial data in ActivityTimeline.
What Administrators Can Configure
Finances in ActivityTimeline

When Enabled, the Finances option is visible in the dashboard selector for users who have the required access permissions.
When Disabled, the Finances module is hidden for all users, and access to the Finances view is blocked completely.

Who Can Access and Manage Finances in the Finances View
This setting defines which users can access the Finances view in ActivityTimeline.
When the Admins, Manager, Power Team Lead, Team Lead option is selected, the Finances view is available to users with those roles.
Please note that budgets are private by default and visible only to the user who created them. Sharing can be configured separately for each budget.
When Only Users from the Selected List option is selected, the Finances view is available only to the users added to the list.
Users who are not included in the list will not be able to see or open the Finances view, even through a direct link.
After updating the configuration, click Update to save the changes.
