By default, the individual workload indicator shows each user’s workload in hours. You can also change the indicator mode to display workload as a percentage, show availability, count assigned issues, or compare planned workload with logged time.
To change the individual indicator mode, click the cog icon on the Planner.
There are four main indicator modes available:

Workload |
Shows the user’s planned workload based on scheduled Jira tasks and events. Jira task workload can be calculated from remaining estimates, daily estimates, or other configured estimation settings. |

Number of Issues |
Shows how many issues are assigned to the user for the selected day, week, or month. |

Availability |
Shows the user’s remaining availability based on involvement, working hours, scheduled tasks, and events. |
|
Worklogs and Workload |
Shows logged time together with planned workload. |
