Timesheet Progress
|
Shows how much time users have logged compared with the hours they were expected to report based on their capacity in ActivityTimeline. |
The progress is calculated using the following formula:
*Past bookings mean booking-type events, which are scheduled for the past, and the setting to treat them as worklogs is ON *Imported External meetings mean meetings imported from Google Calendar or iCal |
Use it to track timesheet completion and identify users who may still need to report time. |
Resource Utilization
|
Shows how much of a user’s available capacity was allocated to planned work during the selected period. |
The progress is calculated using the following formula:
*Planned tasks mean original estimates of the scheduled Jira tasks |
Use it to review how much of the available capacity was planned and identify periods of underutilization or overutilization. |
Planned vs Actual
|
Compares planned hours with the time users actually logged. |
The progress is calculated using the following formula:
|
Use it to understand whether actual effort matched the original plan and identify significant differences between estimated and actual time. |
Approval Progress
|
Shows how much submitted time has already been approved and how much still requires review. Note: This report will only be visible if the approval workflow is enabled. Learn more: Timesheet Approval and Period Closure |
The progress is calculated using the following formula:
*Approved hours - if the approval worklflow is enabled in the app, so the managers will be able to approve users' worklogs. |
Use it to monitor timesheet approval progress and identify worklogs that are still pending approval. |
Custom Configuration
You can also create a custom Progress Timesheet using the available metrics from the predefined templates.
This allows you to choose the values that are most relevant to your reporting needs instead of using one of the default templates.
Additionally, it is possible to display how many non-working days users had in the period.
This can provide additional context when reviewing capacity, utilization, or timesheet completion.
