ActivityTimeline allows you to work with Jira issues directly from the Planner. You can schedule tasks, update issue details, create new Jira issues, split work across multiple users or dates, reschedule tasks in bulk without leaving the planning view.
This makes the Planner not only a visual scheduling tool, but also a workspace for managing planned and unplanned Jira work.
