September 18, 2025

ActivityTimeline Cloud:  Released on August 9, 2025.

ActivityTimeline Server/DC: Released on September 18, 2025.

Recommended: Backup your Jira’s database before the upgrade.

Important note: This update performs an automatic ActivityTimeline’s data migration for better performance on the first start so it may take a few minutes for the first start depending on the amount of issues in your Jira DC.

This version update includes the following enhancements:

  • Added compatibility with Jira 11.0 and 11.1 in ActivityTimeline version 12.0.0-jira11.

To ensure proper functionality of Webhooks and synchronization in Jira 11, please follow these steps after the update:

    1. Navigate to Jira Administration → System → Authentication Methods

    1. Make sure the setting “Basic authentication on API calls” is enabled

This step is required to allow ActivityTimeline to connect and operate correctly with Jira 11 environments

  • Integrated ‘Log Work’ dialog from ActivityTimeline into the Jira issue view for Data Center (accessible via the “More” actions menu), bringing feature parity with the Cloud version. Users can now log time seamlessly while utilizing worklog attributes, categories, and enhanced time entry fields.

  • Added a configuration setting to enable or disable the ‘AT Log Work’ action in the Jira issue view in Data Center. This allows administrators to control the visibility of the feature based on company needs.

ActivityTimeline Configurations → App Settings
