Release Notes v12.4

December 4, 2025

ActivityTimeline Cloud:  Released on November 1, 2025.

ActivityTimeline Server/DC: Released on December 4, 2025.

Recommended: Backup your Jira’s database before the upgrade.

Important note: AT v12.x update performs an automatic ActivityTimeline’s data migration for better performance on the first start so it may take a few minutes for the first start after an upgrade from v11.x depending on the amount of issues in your Jira DC.

This version update includes the following enhancements:

  • Added a new Export to CSV option on the Users page in the Configuration section of ActivityTimeline — designed to help administrators and managers easily extract and analyze user data outside the app.

  • Introduced Configurable Time Spent Display in Days or Hours: You can now choose whether your timesheets and worklogs display time in days instead of hours. This new flexibility helps teams who plan and report work in days to keep their data consistent across planning, tracking, and reporting views.

You can enable it under Configurations → Workload Indicator → Worklog Time Format (Only shown if Time Estimate Format is set to Days)

  • Fixed issue in the Team dropdown search by skill not returning users with matching Skill (PostgreSQL database).

  • Performance and security improvements.

  • Other improvements and fixes.

In addition, Jira 11.0.0 - 11.2.0 support is available in the app version ending with “-jira11” suffix.

If you are running Jira DC on the Microsoft SQL Server database with Windows Authentication then you would need to update the corresponding driver library to 10.2.4 (mssql-jdbc_auth-10.2.4.x64.dll
