ActivityTimeline Cloud: Released on
ActivityTimeline Server/DC: Released on
Recommended: Backup your Jira’s database before the upgrade.
Important note: AT v12.x update performs an automatic ActivityTimeline’s data migration for better performance on the first start so it may take a few minutes for the first start after an upgrade from v11.x depending on the amount of issues in your Jira DC.
This version update includes the following enhancements:
-
Extended Calendar Integration: Import Events via iCal. You can now bring external Outlook calendar events into ActivityTimeline by adding an iCal link. This enhancement expands our calendar integration and allows teams to see Outlook events directly in their ActivityTimeline schedule for better availability planning. More information.
-
Added ‘Position’ Field to Detailed Timesheet Columns: You can now include the Position field as a column in Detailed Timesheet reports for clearer role-based analysis:
-
Reorder Users in Teams: You can now reorder users within teams in Edit Team mode for functional, imported, and Jira group–based teams. This lets you arrange users in the Planner according to your preferred order, such as roles or planning priority.
-
Improved Planner User Ordering: Improved the Planner dropdown behavior to show individual users first when both users and teams are selected.
-
Timesheet approval controls: Self-approval of timesheets by Team Leads and Power Team Leads is now restricted, even within their own teams, improving governance and auditability. If your process requires self-approval, this behavior can be reverted — reach out to our support team for instruction at support@reliex.com
-
Improved Detailed Timesheet view to better fit the worklog comments on the page.
-
Improved displaying order of Recent issues in the Log Work dialog.
-
Optimized performance of workload calculation logic.
-
Other improvements and fixes.
In addition, Jira 11.0.0 - 11.3.0 support is available in the app version ending with “-jira11” suffix.
If you are running Jira DC on the Microsoft SQL Server database with Windows Authentication then you would need to update the corresponding driver library to 12.10.2 (mssql-jdbc_auth-12.10.2.x64.dll)
