This version update includes the following enhancements:

Placeholder Visibility Improvements: Issue bar now can display the number of placeholders associated with a task, making it easy to identify work that still requires resource allocation.

Click the placeholder icon to instantly view all placeholders linked to the issue.

The issue details card also shows the total placeholder count, giving managers and team leads better visibility into outstanding planned work and resource demand.

Introduced Expand/Collapse functionality in Timesheets: You can now use the Expand/Collapse icon next to the report name to quickly expand or collapse the report details.

Added API Support for Issue Parts: Admins can programmatically get, create, update, delete, and merge Issue Parts back into the parent issue. This makes it easier to automate workload distribution, integrate split-task planning with external systems, and reduce manual updates in the UI.

Recent Work Logging Enhancements: We’ve improved the Log Work experience by adding the latest logged issue to the Recent tab, making it faster to continue tracking time on recently updated work items.

Jira 11.0.0 - 11.3.4 support is available in the app version ending with “-jira11” suffix.
As previously announced, Java 8 and Java 11 are deprecated and may no longer work.
Java 17 is the minimum recommended version.
If you are running Jira DC on the Microsoft SQL Server database with Windows Authentication then you would need to update the corresponding driver library to 12.10.2 (mssql-jdbc_auth-12.10.2.x64.dll)
