Reports & Analytics

ActivityTimeline provides a range of reports to help you analyze workload, capacity, project progress, availability, skills, and logged time.

Reports are grouped into three main categories:

Planning Reports

Planning Reports focus on workload and capacity.

They use Jira issue estimates and scheduling data to show how work is distributed across users and teams, helping you identify overallocations, available capacity, and workload balance.

Use these reports when you need to analyze how planned work aligns with team capacity.

Project Reports

Project Reports focus on the progress of Jira projects, Epics, Initiatives, and other larger bodies of work.

They help you compare planned and actual effort, review progress, and understand how work is developing over time.

Use these reports when you want to analyze project delivery rather than individual user workload.

Leave & Event Reports

Leave & Event Reports are based on ActivityTimeline events, such as vacations, days off, and other non-working or custom events.

Use these reports to review user availability and understand how non-working time affects planning and capacity.
