ActivityTimeline Reports as Jira Gadgets / Widgets

This documentation outlines the process and guidelines for integrating ActivityTimeline reports as gadgets into Jira Dashboards. This feature aims to enhance productivity and decision-making by providing easy access to vital analytics directly within Jira.

How to add ActivityTimeline report as a Jira Gadget?

It is possible to add reports as Jira gadgets to your Jira gadget the same way you add your standard Jira Gadgets.

Navigate to Dashobards → Open your dashboard → Click ‘Edit’ on the top right corner:

Click to add a new gadget → Find ActivityTimeline gadget in the list and add it:

How to configure automatic refresh?

Our gadgets refresh data with the same frequency as all the gadgets on the dashboard. You can configure the frequency in the configuration of each dashboard:

You can get real-time data at any time, once you click on the refresh on each individual gadget:

Now, if an ActivityTimeline report or chart is added as a gadget in the Jira Dashboard, users can click on the link icon and embed it into a Confluence page if needed.

This integration makes it easier to keep all your project-related information consolidated and up-to-date, fostering better collaboration and more efficient project management.
