In addition to filtering, grouping, and sorting issues, ActivityTimeline allows users to quickly search for Jira issues directly from the Issue Panel.
The Search Issues field is located at the top of the Issue Panel.

Search by Keyword
Users can search for issues by entering a keyword from the issue title into the Search Issues field.
Search also supports multiple keywords. To search by several terms, enter them separated by spaces.
Search by Issue Key
Users can also search for a specific Jira issue by entering its issue key into the Search Issues field.
If an Issue Does Not Appear in Search Results
Search results depend on the data currently available in ActivityTimeline and on the user’s permissions.
If an issue does not appear in the Issue Panel search results, check the following:

The Jira project is enabled in ActivityTimeline.

The issue has already been synchronized with ActivityTimeline.

The user’s ActivityTimeline role allows them to see the issue.

Jira permissions are not preventing the user from seeing the issue, if Jira permissions are reused in ActivityTimeline.
For example, if a Jira project was recently created or activated, the project and its issues may need to be synchronized before they become available in the Issue Panel.
Locate in Planner
After you find an issue in the Issue Panel, ActivityTimeline can help you quickly locate it on the Planner.
If the issue is already assigned and scheduled for a user or team, a Locate in Planner icon becomes available on the issue card.
